Shelley Wayne

Shelley Wayne is the assistant director and choreographer of the Kilgore College Rangerettes. 

As a member of the Rangerettes (1985-87), Shelley was both a Rangerette Lieutenant and Swingster. Originally from Houston, she holds a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science from Southwest Texas State University (1991), and a M.Ed. from the University of Texas at Tyler (2000). 

Shelley is a former director of the Westfield High School Lariettes who began teaching at Kilgore College in 1993 as assistant director and choreographer to Dana Blair. She also teaches dance in the KC Fine Arts Department. 

Shelley taught for NCA Superstar (1985-93) and Starmakers Dance and Performance Camps (1994-2003). She is the co-director of the Rangerette summer camp for high school students, and a lifetime member of Rangerettes Forever Forever and the 2014 recipient of TDEA’s Lifetime Achievement Award. 

Known industry-wide, and sought out for her innovative and original choreography, Shelley brings artistry and flair to field production material.
