Lori Murillo
Lori has been involved in the drill team and studio world for the past 20 years. After many drill team endeavors in high school, she went to Kilgore College where she had the honor of being a Rangerette and serving as Captain her sophomore year.
Lori taught for Starmakers Dance and Drill Team for 13 years, was the Assistant Director at Westwood HS in Austin for 5 years, and directed at South Garland HS in Garland for 3 years.
She was an instructor for the “Something’s Afoot” character and dance education program under Dawn Weiss for 5 years and was one of the founding teachers for the RRISD Fine Arts Academy at Westwood HS.
Lori is now living in Austin where she is the Director of Vision Competition Dance Company and an instructor at Dancer’s Workshop, a faculty member of the ADW pre-professional dance company, and a freelance choreographer and guest teacher for various drill teams, dance companies, and conventions all over the nation.
