Katie Quinn

Katie holds B.A. in Dance and minor in education from Texas Woman’s University. She was a Kilgore College Rangerette, Swingster, and Captain, and was the director of the Keller-Fossil Ridge High School Sun Dancers for two years.

Katie has done extensive performance work at the Dallas Bath House, Dance for the Planet, MAM and SCHLECTE dance, and various other performances, residencies and lecture demonstrations around DFW and the country.

She studied with a graduate of the Alvin Ailey School, Melissa Young, in the Horton Technique. Katie has also been a guest artist for dance workshops in many camps around Texas, and served as a college assistant for at the TDEA convention in Houston.

Katie currently performs with a modern company called Out on a Limb Dance Company, and she involves herself with dance communities who are passionate about the modern dance world.

These communities accelerate her passion in her own experience as a dancer and performer, but also inspire her to share these experiences with others.
